PUBLIC NOTICE — 2026 OFF-HIGHWAY MOTOR VEHICLE RECREATION GRANT (PRELIMINARY APPLICATION)

Salton Sea Conservation Coalition is applying for funding through the California Department of Parks and Recreation, Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division for a Restoration project at the Coachella Valley National Wildlife Refuge (managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as part of the Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge Complex). The project focuses on restoring areas damaged by unauthorized off-highway vehicle use, including boundary fence repair, barriers, restoration monitoring, and targeted invasive species treatment.
